Job Responsibilities

The Director of Testing Services is responsible for managing placement testing across a three county service area at TTC's four campuses, two sites, and several high schools and adult education centers. The Director is also responsible for the administration of academic and advanced standing testing along with multiple certification exams. This position is responsible for program planning, staff evaluation,  budget oversight, and implementation of all testing programs and technology.  Supervises, trains and evaluates test center staff.  Works closely with local school district personnel to promote ACCUPLACER placement exams in the local high schools.  Stays current on all national placement testing policy and technology, coordinates system updates, reviews internal policies and procedures and makes change recommendations as needed.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

This position requires a master's degree and one (1) year experience in student services programs.
 

Preferred Qualifications

Ideal candidate will have working knowledge of Ellucian's Colleague product and ACCUPLACER testing software and (3) three years' experience in the administration of placement, academic and certification testing of college students from a 2-year (technical or community) college. Experience in management of personnel, budgets and delivery of testing services is also preferred.
