Normal Work Schedule (Other):

Normal work hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm but this position must be willing to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

 

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing day-to-day user support with password resets, file restores, and training.  Will maintain product knowledge of ongoing and upcoming changes within the colleague environment. This position will update the helpdesk work order tracking system and coordinate work orders in a timely manner. Serve as backup for access control environment, manage IT master plan documentation covering inventory and replacement cycles for projectors, projectors and PCs.  Provide backup support to AV switch technology installation.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

This position requires a high school diploma and five (5) years in computer system development and modification or a bachelor's degree in a related degree in a related area and (1) one-year experience in computer system development and modification.

Preferred Qualifications

Ideal candidate will have working knowledge collecting, scheduling, processing information in an IT systems environment. Experience with IP networking, performing computer operations using established helpdesk procedures is essential. The ability to identify, anticipate and provide solutions to hardware and software needs is a must. Successful candidate will have troubleshooting, resolving and repairing hardware and software related experience.   The ability to train users with hardware and software applications is essential. Successful candidate must have strong communication skills, must be flexible and multi-task in a high stress environment.  Building access control and VDI support knowledge is desirable.
