Software Engineering Faculty Position/Game Programming

Job description

The School of Design and Technology at Becker College invites applications for a Software engineering / Game Programming faculty position as part of Interactive Media and Game Design (Game Programming and Software Engineering), beginning in August 2019.  The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching Software engineering concepts including: programming, architectural design, algorithms, and operating systems, as well as AI/Machine learning, and game programming, at every level.  The position will include teaching and developmental of courses with other faculty and the Dean.  We have a special interest in candidates experienced in Software engineering, AI, Game mechanics, analytics, and Game programming.   

The candidate will be expected to teach 12 credits, per semester, to participate in new courses and program development, to mentor and advise students across the School majors.  Other duties include serving in college committees and being a dedicated member of the college Faculty Senate.

Minimum requirements: A Master’s degree in Computer Science or closely related fields is required, advanced degree preferred.  Teaching experience at the college/university level is required.  Please send resume, three references and copy of transcript to Deborah Crowley ([email protected])
