Postdoc Fellow in Physics - CubeSat Program

Job description

A two-year Postdoctoral Fellowship position with a possibility for extension is available immediately for a highly motivated candidate to lead a team of faculty and undergraduate students through the conceptual development, design, fabrication and deployment of a CubeSat. The successful candidate will help define and execute the scientific mission of the program. Other responsibilities include management of regulatory requirements related to the CubeSat mission and support during the launch campaign and ground station operations. This position also includes mentored teaching opportunities of up to one course per semester. Office space, laboratory space, staffed fabrication facilities and funding in direct support of the project will be provided. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in engineering, space science or a related discipline. Previous experience with a successful CubeSat mission is highly desired.
