A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
As the Executive Assistant, your main objective is to provide timely, accurate, and professional administrative support to the President. You coordinate executive communications including incoming and outgoing phone calls, mail, and email. You work independently with little supervision and serve as the link between the Board of Trustees, the college, and the community.


While completing projects and special assignments, you prioritize and manage your time, gain the cooperation of others, monitor progress, and make adjustments if problems arise. With your passion for organization, you also enjoy the administrative aspects of your position. You prepare reports and presentations. For meetings, you maintain files, records, and correspondence. Your ability to anticipate needs allows you to shine brightly within this office environment.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree
At least 4 years of experience as an Executive Assistant / Executive Secretary
Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Are you self-directed and able to work without supervision? Are you a critical-thinker and problem-solver? Are you highly organized and able to prioritize effectively? Do you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills? Are you intuitive? Do you enjoy secretary work?
