The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine invites applicants with an M.D. or D.O. degree to apply for a full-time academic oriented Assistant or Associate Professor Faculty position in Gastrointestinal pathology. Academic rank, compensation, and appointment type will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The applicant should have board certification in Anatomic Pathology and preferably completed a gastrointestinal pathology fellowship program. The candidate is expected to provide excellent diagnostic service, possess strong communication skills, be committed to teaching and training of residents, fellows, and medical students, and have a strong record of scholarly activities. The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is subspecialized and works closely with the University of Miami Sylvester Cancer Center in providing excellent patient care and is an important member of the multidisciplinary Gastrointestinal Site Disease Group.
