Housing Operations Coordinator

Description:
The Housing Operations Coordinator works collaboratively with the Associate Director of Operations to assist in maintaining all areas related to the housing operations function at the College. They assist in the management of all housing operations task including housing selections and assignments, occupancy reports and other management, and billing records. The Housing Operations Coordinator will be an integral part of a growing department and residential program. This is a live-in position with emergency on call responsibilities.

Campus Location: Boston Campus

Required Knowledge:
· Bachelor’s degree with two years of significant experience in a college or university Housing and Residence Life environment that included student staff supervision, housing operations, student programming, and administrative duties.
· Excellent interpersonal and writing skills.
· Ability to effectively work with students from a broad range of backgrounds and life experiences.
· Strong organizational skills and demonstrated attention to detail a must.
· Comprehensive knowledge of student development theory, housing operations and residential life.
· Commitment to diversity, intersections of individuals and team building.

Preferred/Desirable Knowledge:
· Master’s degree or equivalent experience · Competency with basic computer software programs. · Experience with StarRez database.
