The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Drew University invites applications for a 9-month, non-tenure track visiting Assistant Professor of Statistics or Data Science, to begin August 2019. We have new and thriving undergraduate minors in Statistics and Data Science and high student demand for our Introductory Statistics course.  Interested candidates may also teach in our newly created Master of Science in Data Analytics program. Requirements:

The successful candidate will be prepared to teach six classes per year in Statistics and Data Science. We seek candidates who have breadth in the discipline and who are passionate about teaching in a liberal arts context in small classes using innovative techniques. Qualified candidates will have work spanning a number of disciplinary boundaries - some specific areas of potential interest include biostatistics, epidemiology, business analytics, computational statistics, data visualization, and/or machine learning.

Education and Experience:

A Ph.D. in statistics, computer science, data science, biostatistics, business analytics, or a related area of mathematical sciences is required.
