The Student Assistant is housed in the Office of the Dean of the School of Science and Technology and reports to the Biology Lab Supervisor. This individual will perform the duties of: a student laboratory assistant in the Biology lab to include prep work, set-up and take down, clean up, inventory, etc.
Applicants must have successfully completed a cell culture project for BIOL3400 in order to be considered for this position. A letter of recommendation from a BIOL3400 professor should be submitted with the application.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be enrolled a minimum of 6 credits at Georgia Gwinnett College.
- Must be in good academic standing and maintain good academic standing for the duration of employment.
- Must have successfully completed a cell culture project for BIOL3400.?
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of General Education Areas A, B, and D, with outstanding performance in prerequisite math, information technology and/or laboratory science courses.

Physical Requirements
Position may require local travel. Ability to lift and carry files and materials. Ability to move from one office to another office on campus. Adequate vision, hearing and manual dexterity to interact with people in person, on the phone and in writing. Applicant must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
