Researching, drafting, editing various agreements and memoranda of understanding for review;
Legislative tracking and legal research;
Scheduling and maintaining the calendar of appointments, meetings and travel itineraries, and coordinating related arrangements;
Facilitating and managing responses to public records requests;
Responsible for coordinating and managing all administrative and operational functions to ensure the division carries out its activities efficiently and smoothly;
Provides some administrative support and
supervising one administrative support position.
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experienceDepartmental Required Skills
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Intermediate to advanced skills with Windows, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel) and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
Legal research in Lexis Advance and Pacer.
Ability to develop knowledge and understanding of SEAA grant, scholarship, loan, savings and outreach programs.
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Highly organized and has the ability to recall and organize information.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Punctual and reliable.
paralegal certification with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is strongly preferred.Required License or Certification
