The selected candidate will work with the Tamayo lab team to investigate mechanisms of gene regulation in bacteria. The approach involves the use of transcriptional assays and quantitative PCR methods to measure gene expression. The employee will generate reagents and bacterial strains for the study and perform assays. Molecular biology, biochemistry, and microbiology methods will be employed.Education and Experience
