The Member Experience Coordinator will develop best practices and maintain the integrity of TSC’s customer relationship management system (Salesforce). This position will coordinate across the organization to ensure staff is supported and informed on functionality and expectations of the system. This position will provide records management for email list management, reporting between communication systems, and biographical updates for TSC stakeholders. In addition, the Member Experience Coordinator will provide excellent customer service for TSC members through management of the quarterly call program. On occasion, provides additional support for the marketing team as needed.
The Member Experience Coordinator shall understand the processes and features of Salesforce and serve as an expert for stakeholder management solutions while collaborating with the IT manager.

Essential Responsibilities:
70% Salesforce management, growth and development

  • Investigate and propose best practices for TSC staff to utilize and benefit from Salesforce. Develop and maintain guidance and best practices through documentation, training and one to one support when needed for all staff
  • Provide high-level assistance for the membership and development program through records management, report creation and maintenance, list generation and integration and solutions for ongoing outreach needs
  • Update email records and maintain distribution lists through TSC Member Portal from Salesforce on a regular basis. Coordinate with project leads to maintain good data and encourage updates
  • Own relationship with staff salesforce users to ensure knowledge base is retained and new features and use evolves as staff needs evolve
  • Write and edit comprehensive training manuals and revise as needed, coordinating with a senior manager for membership and development

30% Support for membership and development program

  • Maintain membership updates by organizational and individual level
  • Maintain development report dashboard in Salesforce to ensure usefulness for board updates and monthly reports provided by membership and development team
  • Serve as members experience service representative for current TSC members when questions or additional support is needed
  • Maintain schedule and outreach for member quarterly call program, ensuring 90% success rate for program adoption

  • Skills and experience with data management and systems management
  • Experience with computer hardware and software for word processing, desktop publishing, spreadsheets, web editing, and presentation tasks/assignments

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, preference will be given to degrees in communication, sustainability, environmental science, public policy, business, or technical writing
  • Strong preference is given to candidates familiar with Salesforce platform

  • Passion for quality assurance, team player, systems thinking and data management
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Knowledge of sustainability, supply chain management and/or environmental science
  • Proven communications skills to interact with diverse groups of individuals to research, secure and/or provide information, clarify situations, resolve problems, and ensure cooperation among individuals
  • Organizational and time management skills to coordinate projects and people, prioritize and track multiple projects simultaneously, and meet critical deadlines
