Position Summary
Susquehanna University invites applications for a full-time, one-year position as visiting assistant professor in the Department of Music to start in August 2019. Responsibilities include serving as director of the University Orchestra, teaching a conducting course and other music education or music courses based on departmental needs and candidate qualifications.

Required Qualifications
A master's degree in orchestral conducting plus college and/or public school teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications
An earned doctorate (or ABD) in orchestral conducting; the ability to teach music education courses or the ability to teach theory and ear training courses.
