Position Description:
Under the supervision and direction of the UCLA DHCS Local Dental Pilot Project Dental Transformation Initiative (UCLA LDPP DTI) Program Director and Associate Director, the Executive Project Assistant will be responsible for the implementation of day-to-day administrative support activities of the UCLA LDPP DTI, whose goal is to increase access to dental care for 500,000 Los Angeles' children from age 0 to 20 over the course of the project. The position involves providing administrative support and coordinating activities for the project, as well as facilitating the participation of multiple stakeholder groups in project implementation. The Executive Project Assistant will assist the UCLA LDPP DTI Program Director and Associate Director with all administrative and programmatic aspects of the UCLA LDPP DTI.

This includes: provide high-level administrative support to the UCLA LDPP DTI Program Director and Associate Director; communicate and provide accurate information to a wide range of internal and external contacts such as internal and external stakeholders, key officials in government agencies, etc.; writing reports, progress summaries and meeting minutes for program leadership activities as requested by the LDPP DTI Program Director and Associate Director; manage logistics for calls and meetings with various workgroups and partner organizations; independently manage complex calendars, travel, correspondence and special projects of a highly confidential and sensitive nature; serve as liaison to the UCLA LDPP DTI in established committees as needed. The position requires the ability to successfully multi- task and function efficiently and accurately in a demanding, high volume, fast paced, and confidential executive office.
