Position Description:
As a part of Corporate Financial Services IT's Enterprise Application team, the Programmer Analyst III is responsible for analysis, design, development, testing, installation, and support of complex multi-user campus wide and departmental applications including the BruinCard, UC Travel, Equipment Management, Procurement, and other administrative systems. The incumbent will be responsible to help develop and support all CFS IT projects including generating needs assessment, workload, cost, and time estimates, prototyping, and prioritizing. General responsibilities include: applications/software development, configuration, requirements gathering, perform the day-to-day operations and service support; troubleshooting, implementing enhancements and bug fixes; maintain comprehensive documentation of applications development/maintenance processes and procedures; interface with hardware and software providers (internal and external) to deliver solutions that meet campus and UC business requirements.

In the 2007 edition of U.S. News and World Report, UCLA Medical Center was ranked best in the West, as well as one of the top 3 hospitals in the United States alongside Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Johns Hopkins Hospital. In 15 of the 16 medical specialty areas examined, UCLA Medical Center ranked in the top 20.
