Job Description
Description:
  • This position will be responsible for implementing a ticket sales plan, increasing revenue generation through a consistent volume of calls and visits, oversight of the box office operations and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:
  • Achieve monthly and annual activity and sales goals through the implementation of a ticket sales plan developed with the Deputy Director of Athletics and External Team.
  • Contact area businesses and individuals via phone, in-person appointments and networking events to sell season, partial plans, individual and group tickets for Islander Athletics.
  • Call current and past customers and cold-call new sales leads to generate sales.
  • Oversee box office operations including game days.
  • Oversee ticket reconciliations, deposits, credit card transactions and petty cash funds.
  • Work closely with the Associate AD for Business and Finance to ensure all University accounting procedures are properly implemented and followed in the Athletic Ticket Office.
  • Provide superior customer service to ticket patrons and other stakeholders.
  • Hire, supervise and train all box office employees.
  • Manage and maintain the online ticketing platform.
  • Serve as the main point of contact with ticket staff at the American Bank Center.
  • Maintain various databases including those related to season ticket patrons and group ticket accounts.
  • Provide accurate ticketing reports upon request.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Two years working within Intercollegiate Athletics or like industry.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated while also being team-oriented.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Experience working with Ticket Master (preferred experience with Ticket Return).
  • Sales Experience.
  • Proficiency in box office operations.
