UGA Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant provide research, education, training and science-based outreach to assist Georgia in solving problems and realizing opportunities for its coastal and marine environments. Minimum Qualifications:

Requires technical knowledge in the field acquired through an apprenticeship, a 2-year degree, or professional certificate. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualificaitons.

Position Summary:

Primary responsbilities are to assist with data entry at public health departments. This is a grant-funded project that will require entry of on-site wastewater management records into a centralized public health database and re-filing of records. While some of this work is straight forward, matching older historical records requires some creative ability. The work requires being able to conduct repetitive data entry processes with minimal supervision. Applicant should be able to follow a set of standard protocols, work independently and be detailed oriented. Some familiarity with the coastal region is helpful. This position can be flexible to other work or school schedules within the confines of the public health department office hours. Transportation is the responsibility of the applicant.
