The Student Financial Services E-commerce/Outreach Coordinator will provide primary oversight of the systems applications used for the University’s e-commerce initiatives, in addition to managing the PCI Compliance for the University. Additionally, this position is responsible for coordinating and providing oversight for the communication and planning related to all Racer One Stop efforts, which includes serving as the primary liaison for the escalation of necessary items.

• Enforcement of policies and procedures related to e-commerce (Marketplace) activities; liaison between TouchNet and MSU IT.
• Primary source of guidance and support for the University’s e-Commerce initiatives (Marketplace) and all associated Marketplace training, policies, and procedures.
• Responsible for the creation of the new merchant account ID’s for the University.
• Responsible for developing and updating Marketplace training materials and training sessions. Coordinates program communications and marketing initiatives for Marketplace. Compiles and analyzes Marketplace reports and statistics. Responsible for developing/testing web pages, designing and implementing programs that facilitate e-Commerce and University program goals.
• Responsible for developing and overseeing TouchNet Ready Partners project timeliness.
• Serves as primary liaison to both internal and external e-Commerce stakeholders as well as being the primary representative for the Bursar’s Office.
• Serves as one of the key players in the selection of third party vendors who will work in conjunction with TouchNet and provides communication and negotiation skills to both departments and external stakeholders.
• Serves as the primary contact for scheduling upgrades and regular maintenance for TouchNet applications. Resolve problems resulting from TouchNet malfunctions.
• Cross training and updating co-workers from other areas of the department concerning TouchNet software.
• Resolve problems resulting from credit card machine malfunctions located at different areas on campus. Consult with the Elavon credit card processor and the university department.
• Reconcile monthly credit card fees and ensure charges are according to contract – prepare billing for departments.
• PCI Compliance for the university – work with the Bursar to ensure that monthly reviews are performed in order to maintain PCI compliance annually.
• Responsible for updates to Student Financial Services website (financial aid, bursar, and scholarship)
• Responsible for Social media for Student Financial Services.
• Responsible for coordinating communication for Student Financial Services.
• Develop office newsletters, publications, and print material.
• Monitor annual consumer disclosures required for federal financial aid.
• Counsel families on cost and available financial assistance.
• Coordinate and provide oversite of Racer One Stop including oversite of escalation of events/situations to Director.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a business related field.

Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements

• Three years minimum experience in system applications and customer service.
• Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communication.
• Must have the ability to exercise sound decision-making and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as the ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Must be proficient in the MS Office Suite, as well as general systems applications.
• Must demonstrate initiative, integrity and ability to manage confidential information.
• Must have exceptional customer service skills.
• Must have the ability to work cooperatively with others.
