Teach all levels of undergraduate music theory and aural skills, plus specialized theory courses (form and analysis, arranging, contemporary music) at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Teach Music Synthesis. Maintain the Electronic Music Studio. Teach in area(s) commensurate with the department needs and the candidate’s qualifications to complete full load.

Minimum Education Requirements

Doctorate in composition or theory required by start date.

Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements

College-level teaching in music theory and/or aural skills. Expertise in music technology and electronic composition. Demonstrable keyboard proficiency.
