Visiting Assistant Professor of Political Science and International Relations

The Political Science and International Relations Department at Drew University invites applications for a one-year, non-tenure-track Visiting Assistant Professor to begin in August 2019.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will teach introductory and advanced courses in comparative politics. While the Department welcomes applications from different areas of specialization within comparative politics, ability to teach courses in public health or international health policy is highly desirable. We also welcome applications from candidates who can offer courses on China, sub-Saharan Africa, or Latin America. The teaching load is six courses, evenly divided between the fall and spring semesters.

Requirements
Candidates for this position should have earned a doctoral degree in political science (or related field). Those candidates who made substantial progress towards completion of their degree are invited to apply, but priority will be given to candidates who have already finished or will be finishing their Ph.D. degree before August 2019.
