Land, Buildings & Real Estate (LBRE) is the operational core of Stanford University's physical campus. LBRE constructs and maintains the Stanford campus, where advancements across the academic spectrum are made possible. We are looking for a dynamic Lobby Ambassador for our Stanford Redwood City Campus. Our new Stanford Redwood City campus brings together 2,500 staff in a collaborative environment that reflects Stanford's culture and mission. The campus will offer amenities such as onsite cafes and a dining pavilion, a high-end fitness facility with an outdoor pool, and a childcare center for Stanford families. This position reports to the Campus Service Manager.
In this role, you are the first point of contact for our visitors and staff, providing a welcoming professional atmosphere. You are an articulate self-starter who enjoys being around people, is enthusiastic about customer service and thrives in fast paced environments. You are a skilled multitasker who can work independently and follow-through with tasks. Your responsibilities include:
- Greeting, signing in and routing visitors to appropriate staff and meeting areas
- Answering phones and ensuring calls are properly directed and serve as a resource for general inquiries.
- Ensuring adherence to security by following procedures, monitoring system, issuing and tracking badges
- Serving as point of contact for general maintenance, health and safety, and other facility concerns within the unit(s)
- Flexibility to assist with projects and perform other duties as requested
