The Dean of Instruction and Academic Services, is responsible to the Vice President of Academic Affairs for supervisory and oversight responsibilities of the following programs, but are not limited to: Humanities, Social Sciences, Education, Math, Science, Engineering, Agriculture, Academic Complaints, and Academic Services.

This position is located at Sheridan College.

Supervisory and Management Responsibility:

Supervise and evaluate appropriate Directors, Academic Chairs, and Staff as assigned

Evaluate, progressively, the faculty and assigned staff, and make recommendations as necessary

Reports To Vice President of Academic Affairs Education/Qualifications

Current Full-time NWCCD Faculty member.

Advanced degree in a traditional academic discipline.

Master’s degree, doctorate is preferred.

Experience

Administrative experience, preferably at community college level.

Five years’ teaching experience, preferably at community college.
