Job Details
Full-time, non-tenure track position in the Institute of Engineering to begin August 2019.
Responsibilities:
Teach electromechanical engineering technology courses in fluid and pneumatic systems, manufacturing processes, control systems, mechanisms, mathematical system modeling, engineering technology dynamics and engineering economy. Additional experiences/skills in mechatronics/robotics and servo controls will be a plus. This individual will be expected to be involved in laboratory maintenance and development, involvement with professional organizations, student placement, program development, student recruitment, and building industry partnerships. A level of research and service commensurate of an instructor, non-tenure track position is required.
Master of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Robotics Engineering or a related field is required.
Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements Preferred Education and/or Experience QualificationsIndustry experience and experience in a multi-skilled mechanical and electrical environment and certifications related to the multi-skilled, mechanical/electrical industry standards preferred.
