Adjunct Professor - Education

Position:

Trinity Christian College invites applications for a part-time adjunct position in Education beginning in August 2019 to teach EDUC 310: Elementary Literacy.

Qualifications:

Ph.D., Ed.D., or M.A. in Reading is required. Candidate must have Illinois Elementary Licensure with an endorsement in Reading or K-12 Reading Specialist. Previous college level teaching experience is desired.

Trinity seeks candidates for faculty positions who are professing Christians and are committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. Successful candidates will possess the ability to articulate the relationship between their academic discipline, the preparation of their students, and a vision for human flourishing that emerges from the Christian faith.

Responsibilities:

This is a part-time adjunct faculty role. Specific teaching assignments will be in the traditional program teaching Elementary Literacy each fall in the afternoon.

Compensation:

Compensation is at the rate or $700/credit hour, for a total of $2,100.

Time-line:

The Elementary Literacy course is taught in the fall semester over 15 weeks. For further information about the position contact:
