The Accounting & Financial Management (ACFM) Department at Bucknell University’s Freeman College of Management seeks to hire a full-time, tenure-track faculty member to begin in January 2020 or Fall 2020. Candidates must be qualified to teach Entrepreneurial Finance and Entrepreneurship, and other courses in finance and/or management fitting with their background and the College’s needs. We will consider outstanding candidates at all ranks, with rank being commensurate with experience. Demonstrated competence for high quality scholarship (commensurate with the applicable rank) and excellence in undergraduate teaching to a diverse student body are required. Candidates should possess a PhD in Finance, Financial Economics or in an appropriate management discipline. The teaching load for this position is five course sections per academic year. Salary is AACSB competitive.

The Freeman College embraces the teacher-scholar model. The finance faculty at Bucknell has varied research interests including financial modeling, option pricing, performance of sustainable real estate, behavioral finance, and mixed asset portfolio performance. Moreover, we encourage collaboration with faulty in other departments who also have a wide variety of scholarly interests.

MANAGEMENT MAJORS AT BUCKNELL
The approximately 550 students in the Freeman College of Management may choose among six majors offered by highly interdisciplinary departments that combine courses in the various disciplines of management with offerings in the arts, humanities, natural and social sciences, and engineering. The College currently offers majors in accounting, business analytics, finance, global management, managing for sustainability, and markets, innovation and design.
