This is a nine-month appointment. Based on course availability, faculty may also choose to work during the summer term for additional pay. The lecturer will be teaching undergraduate courses in IT fall and spring terms, with summer being optional, and will be expected to participate in service activities at the Department, College, University or professional community.Required Education - Experience - Skills (Minimum Qualifications):
The successful candidate must hold either a MS degree or PhD in a computing discipline – such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Systems, or the foreign equivalent.
Optional considerations: prior teaching experience a plus. Teaching on-line a plus.
Work experience in IT a plus.

The Department of Information Technology is part of the College of Computing and Software Engineering at Kennesaw State University. The Department has two undergraduate degrees – BSIT – Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, and BASIT – Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Technology. The department also participates in the joint e-major Cyber Security. IT has one graduate degree – MSIT – Master of Science in Information Technology.
