Department Behavioral Sciences & Social Medicine – College of MedicineResponsibilities The Department of Behavioral Sciences and Social Medicine at the Florida State University College of Medicine seeks to hire a full-time postdoctoral fellow for a funded program of Maternal-Child Behavioral Health. The position will involve training and experience with integration of evidence based detection and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders in Pediatric and Obstetrics settings. Project activities will include outreach, psychoeducation and data collection at healthcare sites, as well as assistance with data analyses, manuscript and grant preparation. The postdoctoral fellow will work directly with Dr. Heather Flynn and a national network of maternal mental health experts. The candidate will also have the opportunity to develop and author manuscripts and grants.Qualifications Doctorate Degree (PhD) in psychology or related field with training in maternal and/or child mental health or substance abuse.Preferred The ideal candidate will have advanced statistical skills (e.g., multivariate statistical analysis; multilevel modeling), strong writing skills, and is as well as clinical background in evidence-based detection and treatment of childhood and perinatal mental health disorders.
Training and experience with behavioral health integration in primary care and implementation science is preferred.
