Job Summary

The University of Kentucky, College of Health Sciences, Department of Rehabilitation Sciences is currently accepting applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level. The person in this position will serve in the Division of Physical Therapy program and will have a strong research interest in acute care, cardiopulmonary or neurologic physical therapy.

Primary duties of this position include: advancing a personal research agenda, teaching in the relevant content areas, building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external constituents, providing student and faculty mentorship support and research guidance in the Doctor or Physical Therapy program. Duties may also include teaching and mentoring students in the Rehabilitation Sciences PhD program.

Qualified applicants will have a PhD and a degree in physical therapy. An applicant with a record of significant scholarship including the potential for or current extramural funding (e.g., NIH, NSF, DoD) is required. Rank and salary for this 11/12 month appointment are commensurate with qualifications and experience. Start-up funds will be available to help establish or facilitate research agendas.
