Position:
The College of Business and Economics invites applications for a non-tenure track, 10-month Lecturer position in the Department of Finance beginning August 2019.

Qualifications:

MS in Finance or an MBA with a Finance specialization from an accredited institution with at 1-3 years of teaching experience at the college level. Possess practical work experience that is relevant to the teaching area and is significant in duration, currency, and level of responsibility, at the time of hiring. This must continue up to five years after hiring. A successful candidate will have the ability to teach the introductory course in Financial Management for both business and non-business majors, or other Finance or Financial Planning courses as needed by the department. Being flexible to the scheduling needs of the department is necessary. The position calls for the person hired to be able to teach at all campuses where Towson University class are offered including the main campus and the TU Northeast (TUNE) campus in Harford County.

Responsibilities:

Teaching load of 4 courses per semester. Once hired, retaining professional qualification requires evidence of continuous learning during the most recent five-year period. Lecturers who remain employed in their area of expertise are deemed to be maintaining currency. Additional responsibilities may include advising of majors and serving on committees at the department, CBE or Towson University.
