Graduate Admissions Coordinator
The Graduate Admissions Coordinator assists with the admissions process and supports communications between applicants and departments. Collaborates with recruitment staff in other areas of CST and the University. Assists in the development of new recruiting strategies, and helps create informative program literature and reports. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience in higher education admissions or university student services. Professional/technical experience in a science industry. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Required Skills and Abilities:
*Excellent written and oral communication skills.
*Demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Google App Suite, and Ellucian Products (Banner, CRM).
*Knowledge of graduate admissions requirements, college and university processes.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Knowledge of informal science education programs.
*Ability to travel to off campus locations that may not be accessible via public transportation.
*Demonstrated customer service skills along with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of individuals.
*Demonstrated ability to promote scientific and technical programs.
*Ability to work nights and/or weekends, if necessary.
