The Division of Vascular Surgery in the Department of Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Medicine seeks a full-time academic vascular and endovascular surgeon at the Associate Professor.  Candidates must have completed an ACGME-approved Vascular Fellowship and be BC/BE in vascular surgery and eligible for licensure in the State of Colorado. Clinical responsibilities will include all forms of open vascular reconstruction and endovascular interventions.  Primary site of practice will be Veterans Administration Medical Center in Denver along with University of Colorado Hosptial. The position will provide both inpatient and outpatient care and includes interpretation of noninvasive vascular diagnostic studies. The faculty member may also have responsibilities at the other affiliated teaching hospitals of the University of Colorado School of Medicine including the, Children’s Hospital Colorado, and Denver Health and Hospitals. This position is an academic tenure eligible appointment and candidates should exhibit a strong record of academic pursuits with an expectation of continuing individual meritorious scholarly activity. The faculty member will also assist in academic activities including research, mentorship of research residents, teaching of medical students and residents, participation in training the Vascular Fellows, and related service duties and call coverage.
