SUMMARY

This posting will establish and maintaina pool of Lecturers from which future appointments to temporary,non-tenure-track positions will be made. This posting does not necessarilyreflect a current, open position. Appointments will be part-time (less than 50% FTE) and willbe made semester-by-semester, as teaching needs arise. This temporary Lecturerpool is anticipated to remain continuously active through January 2019, atwhich point all applications will be cleared from the pool. Applicants will bewelcome to apply to future pools after that date.

DESCRIPTION

The Business School at the University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver) is seeking a pool of Lecturers in Accounting fromwhich future appointments to temporary, non-tenure-track positions will bemade. Appointments will be part-time (less than 50% FTE) and willbe made semester-by-semester as needed.

Lecturers selected from this pool will teach classes inthe Business School at the University of Colorado Denver. Classes taught willgenerally be limited to three credit hours. These may include lectures in-classor possibly, online. Compensation will range from $4,915 to $5,360 dependingupon course level.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEREQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s or higher degree in Accounting or closely related field. Recent significantprofessional, technical, or managerial experience in the discipline related to theteaching assignment; at a minimum, significant experience is interpreted as atleast five years of duties and responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experienceteaching in Accounting.
