SUMMARY

This posting will establish and maintaina pool of Lecturers from which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure-trackpositions will be made. This posting does not necessarily reflect a current,open position. Appointments will be part-time (less than 50% FTE) and willbe made semester-by-semester, as teaching needs arise. This temporary Lecturerpool is anticipated to remain continuously active through January 2019, atwhich point all applications will be cleared from the pool. Applicants will bewelcome to apply to future pools after that date.

DESCRIPTION

The Business School at the University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver) is seeking a pool of Lecturers in Management fromwhich future appointments to temporary, non-tenure-track positions will bemade. Appointments will be part-time (less than 50% FTE) and willbe made semester-by-semester as needed.

Lecturers selected from this pool will teach classes inthe Business School at the University of Colorado Denver. Classes taught willgenerally be limited to three credit hours. These may include lectures in-classor possibly, online. Compensation will range from $4,770 to $5,200 dependingupon course level.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEREQUIREMENTS:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s or higher degree in Management,one of the management sub-disciplines, e.g., organizational behavior,organization theory, business strategy, etc., or closelyrelated field, e.g., organizational communication, I/O psychology, sociology,etc. Recent significant professional, technical, or managerial experience inthe discipline related to the teaching assignment; at a minimum, significantexperience is interpreted as at least five years of duties andresponsibilities.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experienceteaching Management-discipline courses.
