University of ColoradoLecturer - Computer Science

This posting establishes a pool ofcandidates to fill non-tenure track lecturer positions to teach one or moreundergraduate or graduate level course(s) as needed in the Computer Science andEngineering Department on a part-time semester-by-semester basis. Thedepartment is interested in experienced software engineer professional r toteach graduate-level software engineeringcourses.  The department is further interested in part-time facultyto teach a variety of undergraduate coursessuch as: embedded systems, hardware software interface, object orientedprogramming, computer architecture, computer networks, computer storagesystems, scientific computing, and software engineering. Experience in multiple programming languages is preferred.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

A master's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science ora related field to teach undergraduate courses and PhD (or MS with extensive experience)to teach graduate softwareengineering courses. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Teaching experience inone or more of the following areas is preferred: embedded systems,hardware software interface, object oriented programming, computerarchitecture, computer networks, computer storage systems, scientificcomputing, and software engineering. Experience in multiple programminglanguages is preferred. 

Salary:

 

The salary per course is $5,200. Course sections will vary from term to term and may include required courses or technical electives.
