Preferred Qualifications Position SummaryPurification and isolation of plant and microbial polysaccharides by extraction and chromatography.
Derivatization of carbohydrates for glycosyl composition and linkage analysis by GCMS, maintenance of GCMS Carbohydrate analysis by HPLC & lignin analysis by Py-MBMS. MS Data interpretation using data bases and report writing. Ordering chemicals for the experiments and as needed for analytical service lab. Help with the annual CCRC’s hands-on training on polysaccharide analysis by ordering chemicals and setting up experiments.
