The department has approximately 45 faculty, 800 undergraduate students, 340 graduate students, and excellent facilities, The Construction Engineering BS program was the first accredited construction degree program in the nation and has approx 2600 students.

Essential Job Duties

The successful candidate will serve as the instructor of record for a multi-disciplinary civil engineering senior design project course that integrates geotechnical, transportation and water resources engineering; undergraduate courses in hydraulics and statics; and other undergraduate courses consistent with the candidate’s experience. The successful candidate will be expected to teach up to three courses per semester and to contribute to the broader undergraduate mission of the department including, but not limited to, undergraduate student advising, mentorship of student organizations, and leadership in the preparation of accreditation reports and assessments. The position is a non-tenure track appointment.
