PURPOSE
The Life West Visual Content Producer/Storyteller (Storyteller in short) is a critical member of the Life West Marketing Team. The team gathers, organizes and tells Life West stories in order to share them with internal and external constituents. The “story” takes the form of videos, docuseries, photography, web copy, design, and social media.
The Storyteller is the filmmaker and photographer for the Creative Team. The storyteller actively seeks out stories,
collects information, video interviews, b-roll and other visual assets needed to produce story products. The Storyteller finds and develops stories to showcase and amplify the all the great initiatives, activities, people, events, and vision of Life West. The Storyteller keeps the Life West story and values as the central theme of all projects.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assumes additional responsibilities, performs special projects, and assists with other duties as needed or requested.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Training and/or Experience
-
Bachelor degree in filmmaking, digital design, marketing, or related field or work experience equivalent.

Minimum two years of experience in digital media, filmmaking, photography or related fields.

Prefer two years of experience in professional social media.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personal Characteristics

Must have excellent knowledge and skill using platform of digital media software including social media platforms, Hubspot, and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Must have ability to work independently in a complex environment with a high level of accuracy, reliability, and collaboration.

Requires a balance of technical, organizational, and artistic skills.

Ability to be flexible and learn the variety of tasks.

Ability to work with and communicate with others at all levels.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Nature of work requires an ability to operate standard business office equipment.

Requires ability to communicate and exchange information, collect, compile and prepare work documents, set-up and maintain work files.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs., retrieving and placing materials on high shelves and on floor-level shelves; standing, walking, carrying, grasping, hearing, seeing, sitting, kneeling, climbing, balancing, stooping, crouching, and reaching.
WORKING CONDITIONS

Work performed in a variety of environments including a general office environment.

Periodic travel required.
