Job Summary:

This posting is for face to face teaching only - online positions are not available.

Provide instruction and monitor teaching/learning effectiveness in courses assigned by the division Assistant Dean. An adjunct faculty position requires professionals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates for this position must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask as well as the ability to engage large groups of people with complicated material. They must also be able to use technology sufficiently to use a learning management system (Blackboard) and respond to email.

Mondays and Wednesdays 11:00-1:45pm Sugar Grove Campus

Position Qualifications:


Masters Degree in Human Services, Counseling, Social Work, or related field (MSW preferred for Intro to Social Work class)

Two years teaching experience and/or equivalent occupational experience in the field of human services

IAODAPCA Certification (i.e. CADC)


Two years teaching at the vocational/technical or community college level
