Assistant Professor, Organizational Leadership
The College of Business at Lewis University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Organizational Leadership. The primary professional responsibilities of this faculty role are to provide outstanding teaching (evenings, online and occasional weekends), engage in scholarly pursuits, actively participate in departmental level assessment projects, assist with curriculum development, and support the accreditation process. Ethically grounded and career focused, Lewis' business degree programs combine critical thinking with data analysis, financial understanding, technological knowledge and essential communication skills – all to prepare students with a well-rounded and comprehensive business foundation. The Stahl Center for Entrepreneurship and Real Estate equips students with the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to become successful entrepreneurs. The College of Business Sales Excellence Certificate Program provides students with unique classroom experiences and unparalleled access to sales professionals and their organizations. With small class sizes, one-on-one attention from dedicated faculty who are experts in their field, and accelerated and convenient course options through our regional sites. Lewis' College of Business programs are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). The Lewis University College of Business offers twelve undergraduate majors, serving more than 650 students. Over 550 students are enrolled in the six graduate degree programs, offered through the Graduate School of Management.
Earned Doctoral Degree (preferred) or ABD in Organizational Studies (e.g. Organizational Leadership; Organizational Development; Industrial/Organizational Psychology). Relevant work experience; particularly higher education or non-profit management. Demonstrated record of teaching excellence in both undergraduate and graduate classes. At least 5 years of relevant work experience. At least one year teaching experience at the college level. Experience teaching online course; preferably using Blackboard.
