Lobo Ambassadors exemplify the Lobo Experience and act as a guide and mentor to incoming Sul Ross students. Lobo Ambassadors will assist the Office of New Student Programs with the management and implementation of programming, including: SOAR; Lobo Days; Sully’s Showcase; Peer Success Coaching; Campus Tours; and other orientation/retention related activities. This includes but not limited to: acting as a guide for new students and families; introducing students to their academic departments; orchestrating icebreakers and community building activities during the semester; addressing questions and concerns from students in a professional manner; attending regular meetings; helping in planning events; and showing concern for the academic wellbeing of your fellow students. Pack Leaders will be able to establish the following priorities for their time: 1) Academic Commitments; 2) Pack Leader Commitments; 3) Extracurricular Activities.Other Information
Students selected for this position will serve during Fall 2019 events, with the possibility for Summer 1 2019 employment.
