ABOUT US:

Coordinates with the study Principal Investigator (PI) and Co-PI on all activities related to management of the SAOUN grant, including tracking spending and producing progress reports; may represent the PI and/or Co-PI at local, regional and national coordinating meetings; works in concert with the SAOUN First Point of Contact to disseminate study related materials, SOPS, protocols to program staff and implements them according to NIH policies and procedures; responsible for compliance with local, regional and National IRB requirements, including maintenance of Certificate of Confidentiality for study participants; stays abreast of IRB protocols and standards to ensure study practices follow approved IRB procedures; trains and administers informed consent procedures; keeps abreast of study related developments and responsible for training and monitoring of study personnel to ensure study processes are systematic and complies with the national standards of the "All of Us" initiative; ensures timely and appropriate execution of study recruitment and retention activities; coordinates Electronic Health Record data transfer activities with IT Manager and Research Data Management Assistant; responsible for establishing procedures to integrate recruitment, data collection, and retention activities within the USA Health System Clinics work flow; ensures the implementation of National "All of Us" program protocols for recruitment and retention of patients, protocols for data collection (bio-specimens and other), and protocols for management and shipping of bio-specimens to national repository; coordinates bio-specimen collection, storage and shipping with clinic personnel, Navigator Coordinator, Research Data Management Assistant, and Study Navigators; in coordination with Community Engagement Lead, responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with community stakeholders and community-based organizations for the purpose of study promotion among community members and potential study participants; oversees, organizes, and implements community engagement activities (presentations, meetings, etc.) as needed; supervises staff; works with Navigator Coordinator in supervision of Study Navigators; executes bio-specimen and other data collection activities as necessary; regular and prompt attendance; ability to work schedule as defined and additional hours as required; related duties as required.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree in nursing, public health, allied health or a related field from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama and three years of related professional experience, one year of which was in a research capacity. Experience in a clinic or academic setting is highly preferred. A PhD is preferred.
