Visiting Assistant Professor of Communication Studies

The Communication Studies Department of Albion College is looking for a full-time visiting faculty member with the possibility of renewal committed to teaching in a liberal arts environment with a diverse student population. In particular, we seek a quantitative social scientist who can teach a variety of our course offerings.  Ideal candidates would have a Ph.D. (ABD’s considered) and experience teaching courses in at least two or more of the following areas: Introduction to Human Communication, Public Speaking, Communication Research and Methods, Interpersonal and Family Communication, Social Media, Small Group and Organizational Communication,  or a course in candidate’s area of specialty.   The successful candidate will have a 3/3 teaching load, and is expected to participate in departmental activities.
