New College and the Department of Biological Sciences, divisions in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Alabama, invite applications for three-year renewable, non-tenure earning Instructor position in Interdisciplinary Natural Sciences. The ideal candidate will have an academic background in the natural or biological sciences, with an ability to communicate across disciplines and experience teaching online introductory biology courses and seminars on interdisciplinary environmental sciences or sustainability. The position is renewable based on availability, funding, and performance. Responsibilities include teaching, academic advising, and departmental service. A Master’s degree is required. Special consideration will be given to applicants with experience delivering online curriculum and teaching interdisciplinary sciences.
