TCS Education System is seeking a Human Resource Recruitment Intern. This is an incredible opportunity for anyone interested in a career path toward HR. In the internship, you will learn knowledge of full life cycle recruiting including sourcing and screening of candidates, recruitment law and regulations, recruitment branding, and working knowledge of a robust HRIS recruitment platform, called Workday. The intern will also support the HR Specialist in a number of exciting projects including research and training initiatives. 

Also, as part of meeting learning objectives for the internship, the HR Recruitment Intern will have the opportunity to present to the department and select executives on skills learned, accomplishments, department process improvement suggestions, and overall internship experience.

This is a summer internship (June through August) scheduled for 20-25 hours per week. The intern will report to the HR Specialist, Recruitment and Selection.  

Internship Responsibilities:

• Supports all candidate communications; scheduling interviews, keeping notes, direct email correspondence.
• Provide candidates with organization information and marketing materials.
• Schedules and attends job/career fairs to generate qualified applicants.
• May conduct initial screens, reference and background checks.
• During the scheduling process, ensure candidates have detailed interview schedules and company information prior to scheduled interview.
• Maintain the applicant tracking system, Workday, to ensure candidate records and the recruitment process is accurately tracked.
• Maintain the company's outside job board postings and resume databases.
• Focus on passive candidate sourcing and processes. 
• Conduct reporting for the recruiting and hiring teams such as: data tracking for employee referrals, hiring sources, pipeline overview, etc.
• Support recruitment through utilizing social media marketing to promote open roles.
• Support the HR Specialist with Workday recruiting platform updates and projects.
• Additional ad hoc projects to support the HR team.

Qualifications:

• Must be pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Communication, Business or related degree. Senior or Graduate level preferred.
• Research-driven and self-motivated.
• Must have excellent communication, written and verbal.
• Project management and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
