Job Details
Ricks Center for Gifted Children at the University of Denver is an exemplary program designed for gifted children. We provide nationally recognized gifted education to approximately 230 students ranging from three years of age through eighth grade, who demonstrate exceptional, differentiated abilities and learning needs.
Position Summary
We have immediate need for a non-benefited, part-time Spanish substitute teacher for preschool to grade 4. The position is Monday-Thursday 11:00-3:30, Friday 10:00-2:45 for approximately 6 weeks, starting immediately. This position will secure and sustain the overall well-being of children and to support the implementation of classroom and program plans. The Substitute Teacher will assume all classroom duties in the absence of the classroom teacher.
Required Qualifications
- Teacher training.
- Experience working with young children.
Preferred Qualifications
- Spanish fluency.
- Experience teaching gifted children.
- Valid teaching certificate or degree.
Work Schedule
Monday - Thursday, 11:00 am - 3:30 pm and Friday 10:00 am - 2:45 pm for approximately 6 weeks.
