This position provides visionary leadership in the areas of finance, facilities and budgeting while serving as the chief financial officer of the College. The Vice President of Finance and Facilities will be responsible for the development of Northeast’s financial management strategy and will contribute to the development of Northeast’s strategic goals. This is accomplished by providing direction and coordination of all fiscal operations, planning/developing internal control systems, oversight for cash management, and insurance for the College; the annual audit and regular financial statements; planning and leadership of physical plant operations, facilitate design and construction of major capital and facilities renovation projects; and preparation and publication of the annual budget. Other duties include supervision, treasurer for the college foundation and Board of Governors, liaison with federal, state, and other agencies regarding financial affairs, architects, auditors and other agencies as required. Qualifications: Education
Bachelor’s degree required in business, accounting, finance or related field of study. Master’s degree preferred.

Over five years of experience in financial management.

The successful candidate will have extensive skills in financial management related to reporting, analysis, and forecasting for senior administration decision-making. Supervisory skills are essential to lead the accounting, budgeting, purchasing and facilities operations of a progressive and innovative community college.
