The Systems Administrator will work collaboratively with other administrators, engineers, developers and leadership to provide back-end systems and application support for high demand, mission critical, complex business applications and functions. Typical responsibilities include installation and configuration of operating systems and application software, performing availability and performance monitoring, testing, troubleshooting and developing detailed documentation, and project planning and communications. The Systems Administrator will also provide support for related incidents or outages, conduct root cause analysis and document solution within defined service levels. Provide after hours and on call support as assigned or requested. Percentage of Time: 100 Shift Start: 8:00 am Shift End: 5:00 pm function checkForSelectedStatus(){ return true;} Qualifications for Position 20 Records Qualifications Required/Preferred Demonstrated experience in the design, configuration, installation and support of Linux/CentOS server operating systems. Required Demonstrated experience with supporting complex multi-tiered systems (web, application and database) used to support mission-critical applications. Required Demonstrated experience with one or more scripting languages, such as Bash, Perl, Python, Ansible, PowerShell, or JSON. Required Demonstrated experience in security patching and configuration management on systems and servers in development, test, QA and production environments. Required Experience with management of DNS server, and installation and renewal of server certificates. Required Familiarity with high-availability systems, failover, virtualization and business continuity planning; ability to support systems testing, analyze logs and optimize system performance. Required Skilled in the configuration of communications protocols and services such as TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, NTP, FTP, SSH, and LDAP. Required Ability to prioritize tasks and prepare project plans and schedules with only general guidance; skill in estimating time and effort required for software tasks and projects. Required Experience with network and host based security strategies, utilities and procedures; able to perform security scans, audit results and resolve security related issues. Required Strong analytical skills with ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems independently as well as in collaboration with other technical staff. Required Demonstrated experience with the application of industry standard practices and principals in the design and configuration of systems/networks. Required Skilled in communicating effectively both orally and in writing; ability to create comprehensive technical documentation; develop and deliver presentations on technical topics to audiences of varying knowledge and level. Required Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends as required for installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and on-call support. Required Familiarity with IT Service Management and ITILv3 practices including incident, problem root cause analysis, change and configuration management procedures. Required Ability to lift, move, and carry objects weighing 50 pounds with assistance using proper posture. Required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (or similar) OR combination of relevant professional experience and education. Required ITIL v3 Foundation Certification. Preferred Demonstrated professional experience with Amazon Web Services. Preferred Knowledge of Windows 2008/2012/2016, Active Directory and IIS web server. Preferred Working knowledge of Apache/Tomcat web servers, IBM WebSphere, VMware, tc servers.
