The Department of History at William & Mary invites applications for a one-year, non-tenure-track Visiting Assistant Professor in Middle Eastern History that will begin August 10, 2019. Specialization is open.
The successful applicant will be expected to be an effective teacher and will have a 3-3 teaching load, including broad surveys of pre-Modern and Modern Middle Eastern history, and intermediate/advanced undergraduate courses in Middle Eastern history. A PhD is required by the time of appointment.
