Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Director of Human Resources Systems Operations, this position coordinates, evaluates, plans, monitors, schedules, and trains on work related to Human Resources and Affirmative Action data processing and reporting within the HR Systems for employment on the campus.

Essential Functions

  • Develops and implements business process improvements to ensure optimal effectiveness and efficiency. Assists in the development, recommendations and implementation of controls and procedures in accordance with the University’s Affirmative Action goals.
  • Serves as AA data custodian and campus resource for all Affirmative Action & Equal Opportunity data.
  • Prepares monthly and annual Affirmative Action & Equal Opportunity statistical reports for the campus as requested or assigned.
  • Analyzes employment data to develop and maintain Affirmative Action programs that are EEO-1, Section 503, and VERAA compliant.
  • Responsible for filing EEO-1 and VETS-100 reports in accordance with annual federal deadlines.
  • Serves as the campus technical custodian supporting campus wide initiatives including OFCCP audit support and systems training. Provides data and processing support to the HR Operations team.
  • Works and coordinates with the Director of Human Resource Systems Operations on HR Systems related project initiatives.
  • Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure)

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2 years’ experience with HR or AA/EO data analysis and processing.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information with appropriate discretion and sensitivity.
  • Knowledge of desktop applications such as Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with an ERP system such as PeopleSoft including query management.
  • Work Schedule

    M-F 8:30-5:00
