Job Details
The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non-profit clinical practice group affiliated with the George Washington University, is seeking applicants for a regular, full-time faculty position in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. Intensivists at GW work closely with intensivist colleagues, neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, neurologists, anesthesiologists, trauma surgeons, and other sub-specialists in an environment that fosters collaboration.
Appointment to this full-time academic position will be made at a rank (Assistant
Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) and salary commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities include providing comprehensive, multi-system care to critically-ill patients with primary or secondary neurological disease as well as care to general critical care patients; teaching residents and medical students; and pursuing scholarly interests.
Minimum Qualifications:Applicants must be board certified or board eligible in any of the core specialties of Critical Care Medicine as well as neuro-critical care medicine, at the time of appointment. Eligibility for licensure in the District of Columbia is also required.
